If your decision to purchase depends on insurance confirmation or coverage, I kindly ask that you complete these steps prior to your consultation. This will help you understand what portion may be covered by your insurance and what portion will be your responsibility.

Please note that we do not submit claims directly to insurance companies. You will need to submit your receipt along with your prescription for reimbursement.

This helps prevent delays and ensures that the piece you selected is available.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

Because I work one-on-one and support a high volume of clients each month, including many undergoing medical treatment such as chemotherapy, my schedule is carefully structured to ensure every client receives the attention and care they deserve.

For this reason, appointment times are valuable and limited.

Please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late cancellations or missed appointments require a $50 rebooking fee before a new appointment can be scheduled.
The rebooking fee is credited toward a future purchase, so it is never lost.

Last-minute cancellations not only affect my business, but they can also take away an opportunity from someone who may be traveling from out of town, dealing with a medical diagnosis, or relying on that appointment time for urgent support.

This policy simply ensures that appointment times remain available and accessible to everyone who may need them — especially those undergoing medical treatments or traveling long distances.

Choosing comfort over the “dream style”

Selecting a slightly shorter length for a better fit and

accepting that certain caps simply do NOT suit your head shape or size

Understanding that ready-made wigs have industry limitations

Adjusting expectations when younger clients choose based on looks rather than practicality

If you follow my guidance, you will not end up with an incorrect fit.

I can provide expertise, but I cannot override a decision made against my recommendations.

Fit Comes Before Style — Always!

A topper or wig must fit correctly — Style is adjustable: it can be trimmed, thinned, toned, restyled

Fit is not adjustable unless the cap is custom-made.

A wig will never fit the same on someone with full or even partial bio hair as it will on someone with advanced loss or complete hair loss — this is normal and expected.

Scalp Sensitivity & When I May Pause an Appointment

I may decline or pause a fitting if:

Your scalp is irritated, you experience pain when clips are applied

your scalp is oily, inflamed, or overly tender. Your scalp health always comes BEFORE any sale.

In these cases, I may recommend consulting a dermatologist.
This is nothing to be embarrassed about — it is very common — but a healthy scalp is essential for safe, comfortable topper wear.

Remember, Healthy Scalp leads to Healthy Hair!

Parents & Young Clients

Younger clients often choose based on looks, not practicality.

I can advise. I can guide. But I cannot choose for them.

Parents must help direct young clients toward realistic, comfortable, long-term solutions — especially when investing in high-quality pieces.

My Emotional Battle of Hair Loss

Hair loss is more than a physical change—it’s an emotional journey. It can chip away at your confidence, alter your self-image, and leave you feeling invisible in a world that so often equates beauty with a full head of hair. Those who haven’t walked this path truly can’t grasp its impact.

While many may sell wigs and toppers, genuine understanding comes only from lived experience. I battled it alone. I was at rock bottom when I realized I had to do something. The turning point wasn’t just about hair—it was about reclaiming my sense of self. I made the bold decision to shave my head and buy a wig.

The transformation was incredible. I took back control from the hair loss, and that choice changed my life. I was finally able to face the world again. For the first time in a long time, I looked in the mirror and saw me.

Over time, my hair did grow back—but the emotional struggle never fully disappeared. To this day, there are moments of worry, of watching, of wondering.

That’s the reality of hair loss—it isn’t always visible, and it doesn’t always end with regrowth.

I believe this was an experience I had to go through in order to truly understand the emotional weight of hair loss—and to be prepared for the calling that was quietly waiting for me.
