IMPORTANT: Using HARD WATER to wash your Human Hair Wig (Synthetic as well) can damage the hair. Review information under the Wig Care & Style Tab.
If you invested in a human hair wig or topper, please review information on this page and also under the "Wig Care & Style" tab.
Human hair Wigs and Toppers are the most beautiful, most natural looking and most durable pieces to have and are available in various colors. In the long run, they are worth the investment.
With proper maintenance a high quality human hair wig can last a long time. Life span will depend on the daily wear & tear and on how someone cares and takes care of their hair system.
Improper usage of hot tools such as straighteners and curlers can damage the hair if too much heat is used. It is recommended to use heat protectants when curling or straightening the hair.
When we consider cost of Human hair wigs or toppers, there are a few factors that will determine the cost.
1. ETHNIC ORIGIN
Asian (Chinese & Indian) hair accounts for the 98% majority in the marketplace, and only about 2% of human hair wigs use premium European hair.
European Human Hair Wigs
European hair is scarce and while, rare, this hair is the highest quality there is. With its intact cuticle it creates a beautiful natural flow, shine, and direction of movement.
Due to their rarity, European Human Hair wigs fall into the Luxury Wig category because they look the most natural, last the longest with proper care, and have strict quality control, manufacturing, and processing standards.
Among the Luxury wig category, the top of the line is the Virgin European Human Hair.
Virgin hair that's never been chemically-treated or dyed is not only very rare, but also most expensive of hair types. They are the top of the line hair due to their natural looking colors and various shades.
Asian & Indian Human Hair
Most of the commercially used human hair for wigs and toppers are from these two regions. Since these hair types tend to be black or darkest brown, they must be processed and treated to achieve lighter colors.
* Indian Hair - The hair is finer than the Chinese hair and has a natural curl at the end
* Asian Hair - They are naturally straight, fibre much stronger, thicker denier, best hair to use for blonde and red hair colors
We blend 50% Chinese hair with 50% Indian hair when creating our wigs and toppers to achieve the perfect balance of texture, durability, and manageability. Chinese hair is known for its smoothness, strength, while Indian hair offers a natural softness and versatility that makes it ideal for styling.
By combining these two types of hair, we ensure a product that has both the volume and body that clients love, while also being lightweight and easy to maintain. This ratio allows for a natural look, excellent longevity, and a seamless blend that fits various hair types and preferences.
Mongolian Human Hair
The hair quality and diameter of the Mongolian hair is very similar to the European hair. Mongolian hair is prized for its authenticity, fine texture, longevity, natural look and feel; making it easy to blend with bio hair. Due to Its versatility, (although limited availability), makes it a premium choice for hair extensions, toppers and wigs.
2, QUALITY OF HAIR
Quality of hair will depend on the grade, elasticity, porosity, hair type, Remy vs Non-Remy
Please Note: Remy human hair wig - ‘Remy’ only applies to the way the hair is gathered and processed and not at the grade or the origin of the hair.
When you hear the term in-tact cuticle, it means the hairs have been arranged so that the root ends are all going in the same direction while gathering and processing the hair. This process prevents tangling and makes the wig more durable and easier to style as well as will keep its shine and a natural look and feel.
That is why these type of wigs are the very best quality as well as more costly. Purchasing your human hair wig from reputable sellers will ensure that the hair is top quality.
Platinum HUMAN HAIR BLEND - High-Tech meets nature
This is a blend of Premium Remy Human & Heat Friendly Fiber
The combination of high-quality human hair and heat-resistant high-tech synthetic fiber combines the advantages of both types of hair. This produces particularly natural looking, soft hair with the best features for easy hair care.
The mixture of human hair and heat friendly synthetic hair allows you to style hair using heat tools. Heat styling periodically will keep your Prime Blend soft and smooth. We recommend a max heat of 300F for this blend. Once the fiber is styled with a heating tool (flat iron, curling iron, wand, etc.) the new style will remain intact until heat is applied again. Water will not remove the style so your curls and waves will last through washes.
Human hair has natural texture, cool and lightweight, and style versatility. The Heat Friendly Synthetic fibre has style memory. Combined together, the Human Hair Blends act as a bridge between synthetic and human hair options.
While the human hair may still be prone to weather-related changes, the heat friendly synthetic locks help to secure the shape. This in turn allows your hairstyle to last longer than with human hair locks alone.
***You will be informed when purchasing such blend.

PROTECTING YOUR INVESTMENT
A Premium Human Hair Wig is an investment and if you are looking for a nice return, it will pay off if you maintain and care for it properly.
Unlike natural hair, human hair wigs do not receive the natural oils produced by the scalp, which can lead to dryness over time. Using oils specifically designed for human hair wigs can help moisturize and nourish the hair fibers, keeping your wig looking healthy and vibrant.
A dry hair will look dull and brittle and will easily break. So keeping the moisture locked in is essential.
All human hair systems require the same three things as your natural hair would:
Here are a few of the PLANT based Oils that are great for Human hair wigs and hair systems as well as your own hair.
To use these oils, apply a small amount to the palm of your hand and rub your hands together to warm the oil. Gently massage the oil into the hair, 1 inch from the root down to the ends.
You can also apply oil on the hair before washing it. Just comb it through the hair and let it sit for 30 minutes.
After washing and conditioned the hair, towel dry it then, add some natural oil as a leave-in conditioner. You may also use Argan or Coconut oil Mist on a daily basis to keep the hair hydrated.
A quick recap on the differences between Chinese, Indian, and European Human Hair
The difference between these will be the denier (diameter/thickness of the hair strand) and texture of the hair.
*Chinese hair will have the larger denier and be the strongest and straightest hair.
*Indian hair will have a medium denier and a natural wave pattern.
*European hair will have the thinnest denier and most fragile to processing with a very soft and light texture.
Remember to always use products designed for Alternative Human Hair. Using Shampoo designed for your hair can damage your human hair wig or topper.

Human hair wigs have revolutionized the world of hairstyling, allowing us to effortlessly switch up our looks and enhance our natural beauty. When it comes to caring for and styling these wigs, two popular methods stand out: air drying and blow drying.
Air drying your human hair wig can be a game-changer, as it allows the hair to dry naturally without the need for heat or excessive manipulation. Below you will see the key benefits of Air Drying
Wigs made from a blend of Indian and Chinese hair provide a perfect balance, resulting in a beautifully natural wave and movement. By air drying, you maintain and enhance these features, giving your wig a realistic and authentic look.
Air drying eliminates the potential damage caused by excessive heat from blow dryers. By opting for this method, you ensure the longevity of your wig, as it avoids the risks associated with prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
Air drying is incredibly simple and convenient. After washing your wig, gently pat it with a towel to remove excess moisture, then lay it flat on a wig stand or clean towel to dry naturally. This method requires minimal effort, allowing you to multitask while your wig dries.
While air drying maintains the wig's natural beauty, blow drying offers a different set of advantages. When you desire a smooth and polished appearance, here's why blow drying can be your go-to choice
Blow drying human hair wigs, especially those made with the Indian and Chinese blend, can help you achieve a polished look. By using a medium heat setting, you can effortlessly straighten the hair, reducing any frizz or fly-aways.
Compared to air drying, blow drying is a quicker method. If you're in a rush or have a special occasion, using a blow dryer can save you time without compromising the overall quality and style of your wig.
Blow drying gives you the freedom to experiment with different hairstyles. By using a round brush or other styling tools, you can create volume, add curls, or straighten the hair, providing endless possibilities to change up your look easily.
Whether you opt for air drying or blow drying, caring for your human hair wig is essential to maintain its quality and longevity. The Indian and Chinese blend used in wigs offers the perfect combination of a smooth look, natural wave, and movement, providing you with versatility and style options.
When you want to embrace the wig's natural beauty, air drying is the way to go. It preserves the wig's authentic features and requires minimal effort.
On the other hand, blow drying allows you to achieve a polished look, straightening the hair while providing versatility in styling.
Remember to use a medium heat setting to protect the wig's integrity.
Ultimately, the choice between air drying and blow drying comes down to personal preference and the occasion.
By understanding the benefits of each method, you can confidently style and enjoy your wig, knowing that you can effortlessly switch up your look and embrace your unique style.

Even the best quality human hair wig can tangle and look frizzy if not being cared for it properly.
Number one reason is if the wrong products are being used. Using human hair shampoo & conditioner that you use for your own hair, may not be the right product for your wig.
Products designed for Alternative human Hair have more oils (to keep hair moist) and no chemicals.
Remember, our scalp produce natural oils to keep our hair moisturized, however, the wigs do not get oils form our scalp, therefore, it is important to use products that will keep your investment lasting long. It is also recommended to use a conditioning leave-in spray (daily) or oil mist. When the hair dries out, it tangles and will become frizzy.
Heat and sweat can create tangles at the nape of your neck. While sweating is unavoidable at times, there are things that can add to the tangles around the nape area.
High collars, wool turtlenecks, and heavy fabrics can all encourage matting and tangling. Wear silky, linen, or light cotton fabrics will to reduce tangling.
Also avoid using moisturizing creams on your neck as that will also make hair around the nape to tangle
While it is okay to use heat, is important to follow instructions on the amount of heat you use.
How often you use hair dryers, hot rollers, flat irons, curling irons, on your human hair wig can determine the life span of your investment
Heat dries out the hair strands and can cause tangling, frizz, and even breakage. When you must use heat, make sure to use heat protectant first and blow dry balm.
You may allow your human hair wig to air dry 80% then smooth it out on a low to medium heat.
The ideal temperature when styling a human hair wig is no higher than 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Human hair wigs that are well cared for can last a couple of years and can even be restyled, colored and trimmed to freshen up the look
It is best to keep the wig away from heat and on a wig stand to avoid hair from tangling
Store your wig in dry conditions, humid circumstances such as a bathroom will only shorten your wig’s life.
If you are constantly using hot tools such as curling irons or straighteners, then these heat stylers can be culprits for split ends.
The only way you can actually get rid of split ends is by cutting them off. Getting your wigs trimmed by a professional hairstylist is the easiest way to get rid of split ends.

In general some custom hair systems will shed during normal maintenance routines such as brushing or washing.
Normally, they may shed at the start during the first few days a bit more as there may be lose strands that may not have been brushed out completely.
The shedding could also be caused by wrong maintenance routine or just small habits that we may not even think about when we first start wearing hair replacement systems.
Using excessive amount of hair products (gels, hairsprays) without washing it off regularly it can dry the hair out and cause breakage from the root.
Rubbing with towel when drying or tugging on the hair when using hot tools can also cause hair to break from the root.

The type of Base such as Lace, Mono/PU, Skin & attachment method whether using clips, tapes vs glue to install the system can affect the lifespan/shedding
Proper cleaning routine and the overall maintenance of the hair system is important to maintain the integrity of the hair system.
If you take time to implement a good hair care routine you will be able to prolong its lifespan significantly.

Do not scratch your head as you would your scalp, but rather pat your head with the back of a brush.
Scratching will loosen the knots and cause the system to shed easily
When combing a hair system, it is best to use a wide-toothed comb
Comb the hair piece gently. Start from the hair ends (for long hair) and work upwards to the base of the cap.
Make sure to not comb it from top to bottom. Comb the hair system thoroughly before washing using a detangle spray if needed.
Do not comb hair system when wet.
It is important to use leave-in conditioner before combing through it.

It is always a good practice to apply knot sealer to the hair system to seal the knots and keep them tied firmly
(Not for all hair systems, mostly for lace)
Of course, the knot sealing should be done after every wash. Here are a few tips to watch for when wearing a hair system
Use products specifically designed for alternative hair Regular hair products have high alcohol content that would lead to drying the hair and cause breakage and hair shedding.
Alternative human hair must be cared for differently than the natural hair growing from someone's head.
Purchase the products that Your Hair system needs !

Sleeping with Hair System
The friction between the hair and the pillow can pull the hair and create hair loss. This is more so with longer hair systems.
It is recommended to braid your hair (long hair) when going to bed, you may use a silk cap and replace your pillow case with a silk pillowcase to reduce friction and knotting of the hair.
Activities - Such As Swimming
Chlorine and salt in the water will damage the hair system if not rinsed out well.
However, best is to wear a cap to prevent prolonged exposure to the chlorine or salt water. Both of which can cause the hair to tangle.
Cleaning Hair System (Not For Wigs)
For those that use tapes or adhesives (for bondable pieces), use the proper cleaning products designed for the specific base type when removing the adhesives from the systems and your scalp.
Ensure that you removed all glue and tapes before washing the hair system to minimize shedding.
After the cleaning is completed, please follow the written instructions provided. Don’t wring/squeeze the wet hair.
Best to gently pat hair system with towel to soak the water out. You may also let it dry naturally.
If you want a quick dry, you can use a hair dryer, but be sure that it is on a cool setting.

In case of toppers, the base type can make a significant difference in how well the topper blends with your natural hair and scalp.
Here are some common base types and their benefits:
Lace Front:
Lace front toppers have a fine, sheer lace material at the front edge, which creates a natural-looking hairline. This type of base allows for the hair to be styled away from the face (works best for those with no hairline hair)
Monofilament:
Monofilament bases are made of a thin, breathable material that resembles the scalp. They provide a natural parting and allow for multi-directional styling.
Silicone:
Silicone bases offer a secure fit and are ideal for those with minimal to no hair underneath. They provide a smooth surface that adheres well to the scalp.
Integration:
Integration bases feature openings or gaps through which your natural hair can be pulled to blend with the topper, creating a seamless look.
Skin-like:
Skin-like bases mimic the appearance of the scalp and are ideal for those with little to no hair. They provide a realistic scalp appearance and a secure fit.
Choosing the right base type depends on your level of hair loss, comfort preferences, and styling needs.
During your appointment, we can determine the best base type for you.
NOTE: Regardless of base type, nothing is ever 100% perfect, however, we can make things work!

When purchasing a ready-made wig, it's common to encounter some fitting problems. These issues can often be resolved by modifying the wig.
Head Measurements and Shape
While head measurements are crucial for determining wig size, other factors also play a significant role.
Head shape
Regardless, of your head size Petite, Average or Large, your head shape will play a role in the fit of the wig.
Head shapes vary, including elongated, oval, and round. Certain wig constructions and styles are more suitable for specific shapes.
Head shape, more than head size, influences how the cap will mold to your head.
Personal comfort
While it is necessary to wear a wig that fits, some people may feel more comfortable with a slightly looser or tighter one.
Adjustability
Some wigs offer adjustable features, like straps or hooks. These options make small modifications possible to achieve a better fit. All wigs are adjustable one way or another and with a few possible modifications we can achieve a precise fit.
Wig Cap Alteration
Some adjustments can be made to the wig cap, to make it match your head shape and size better. We can reshape some areas of the cap, letting it out, or taking it in.
Weft Modification
The rows of hair sewn onto the wig are called wefts. To make a wig cap smaller we can remove some wefts to change the size of the wig just a little bit and improve how it fits.
Hand-Tied Wig Cap Modification
Hand-tied wigs can be adjusted easily if there is excess cap material at the back.
Padding and Cushioning
For slightly larger wigs, adding padding materials to some areas under the cap can enhance the fit and the overall appearance.

Slightly larger wigs can be modified and adjusted more easily, and they will feel more comfortable on your head.

The porosity of a human hair wig can affect how color penetrates the hair, similar to natural hair. Here's how different porosities can impact the coloring process:
Low Porosity Wigs:
Wigs with low porosity have a tightly closed cuticle layer, which can make it challenging for color to penetrate evenly. It may require longer processing times or the use of heat to help open the cuticle and allow the color to penetrate more effectively.
High Porosity Wigs:
Wigs with high porosity have a more open cuticle layer, which can cause color to penetrate quickly but also fade faster. It may be necessary to monitor the coloring process closely to prevent over-processing and damage.
Medium Porosity Wigs:
Wigs with medium porosity have a balanced cuticle layer, making them more receptive to color. They typically require standard processing times and techniques for optimal color penetration and longevity.
Understanding the porosity of your human hair wig can help you choose the right coloring products and techniques to achieve the desired result.
A consultation with a professional wig stylist or colorist can provide personalized recommendations based on your wig's porosity and your coloring goals.
NOTE:
A color test should always be done at the nape area first before proceeding with the full color.

The wig or topper that you decide to purchase may not be the exact color as your hair is, but with Human Hair systems, a Professional Hair Stylist can color match your color to the topper or vice versa.
Whether you are looking for a new look, or simply want to enhance your natural beauty, you can achieve that with a beautiful Topper or a new full Wig.
